About Curlew WHS

The Curlew is a great boat for two couples each with a cabin and shower/toilet facilities, separated by the saloon/kitchen for privacy. The Curlew WHS is not recommended for anyone with limited mobility.

Please note: Boats in our Scottish fleet ending with ‘WHS’ were previously operated by West Highland Sailing, and are older than boats from our regular budget fleet. This is reflected in the price.

Restrictions and exceptions

Curlew - access at rearWhen rear on to the dock, the Curlew can only be accessed via a vertical 5-rung ladder. There is 'step-on' access to the side of the boat, but it is quite high up - so it is only easier when it is possible to moor side-on and if the dock / quayside is high enough to step easily. As such, customers should assess whether they possess adequate mobility to board before booking. Dogs may also struggle to board without assistance.
